Business marketing :-

Marketing means creation of time, place, possession and image utility. A time utility is created by making goods available at the time when these are needed by consumers. The place utility is created when goods are moved to a place where there is demand. A possession utility is created by giving the possession of goods to consumers. The image utility is the result of emotional and psychological value about the product due to reputation. Advertising and marketing can create image utility. The sellers must know in advance the nature of goods needed by buyers. Moreover both parties should be aware of the various types of goods available in the market. There is need of analysis of market,customers, need, channel of distribution and other agencies that can help in various marketing functions. Marketing starts before production of goods and services. Marketing management must know about the means and ways to be used by business to provide information  about products and possible benefits to customers. Thus customer is the pivot and all marketing activities cluster around him.
